Sugar Insurance Fund Board

A government website the board’s own staff can run

sifb.mu

The client

The Sugar Insurance Fund Board (SIFB) is the Mauritian body that insures sugar cane planters and millers. Its website publishes annual reports, communiqués, vacancies and tenders for planters and the public.

The brief

SIFB needed to replace its WordPress site with a faster, more secure one that kept the familiar design, and to let staff publish official documents and notices without technical help.

What we built

  • A rebuilt website that keeps the look of the original sifb.mu
  • A dashboard for the Board of Directors, annual reports (PDF upload or link) and communiqués
  • Communiqués for vacancies, tenders and procurement with attachments, each on its own page
  • A menu editor so staff can reorganise the navigation themselves
  • A visual board-composition chart on the organisation page

The result

SIFB staff publish reports and notices from the dashboard, and each new communiqué appears on the site automatically with its own page.
